Abstract

Swift/XRT is performing a monitoring of the new outburst of the supergiant fast X-ray transient IGRJ11215-5952 (Romano et al., ATel #994; Mangano et al., ATel #995). A timing analysis of the February 9 observation confirms the possible pulsation suggested by Smith et al. 2006 (ATel #773) from the analysis of the previous outburst with RXTE. The preliminary value from the Swift/XRT data indicates a period of 180.4 +/- 1 s.
