Abstract

The helix Nebula NGC 7293 is one of the best known Planetary Nebula The central star of the Helix is a DAO white dwarf with effective temperature 1 20 000K and its mass is 0 93 times of Solar mass Its morphology and composition have been studied widely with spectrophotometry Chandra and XMM-Newton space missions Here efforts have been made to model the Helix with the Montecarlo Photoionization Code MOCASSIN of Barbara Ercolano Ercolano et al 2003 MNRAS 340 1136 The results are compared with the earlier results The archived data from XMM Newton on NGC 7293 have been reanalysed with SAS 6 5
