Abstract

A new CO(3-2) spectrum of IRAS 10214+4724 from the NRAO 12 m telescope shows a 170 km s^-1^ wide line centered at Z = 2.2855. The line flux, 6.7+/-1.4 Jy km s^-1^ agrees with measurements at other telescopes (IRAM 30 m and NRO 45 m telescopes, IRAM, Nobeyama, and OVRO interferometers). This source must be small. These observations are inconsistent with previous suggestions of a much larger flux and undetected components on a 200 kpc scale.
