Abstract

The Galactic radio source G308.8-0.1 is a supernova remnant shell of which the brightest part, G308.7 + 0.0, was formerly cataloged as a supernova remnant in its own right. The shell, as now defined by sensitive new observations, contains a short-period pulsar within its boundary. Both are probably relics of the same supernova event.
