Abstract

The angularly small planetary nebulae, K3-66, K3-67, and K3-71, in the direction of the galactic anticenter were analyzed spectroscopically. Their small angular sizes, along with their densities and electron temperatures, suggest that they may be fairly distant. Their radial velocities deviate considerably from those expected from galactic circular motion. The chemical abundance diagnostic criteria developed by Peimbert (1983) show that K3-66 clearly belongs to Population II. K3-67 is the most interesting object of the three, in that it is enriched in helium and nitrogen, and therefore represents an additional example of a class like Ml-9 and Ml-16, which were examined by Shibata and Tamura (1985).
